A lot of people arrive here after searching for AARP’s games page, so it is worth being straightforward about what is the same and what is not.
AARP runs a large, genuinely free games site. At the time of writing it also has a members-only category of games, and it invites you to register an account so it can save your progress and award rewards points. None of that is a criticism. It is simply a different arrangement from ours, and if you have run into a login screen or a members-only badge, that arrangement is probably why you are reading this.
What is different here
There is no account. Not an optional one, not a “register to save your progress” one. There is nothing to sign up for, which means nothing to remember, nothing to reset, and no email address to hand over.
There is no members-only section. Every game on the site is open to everyone who can reach the page. There is no tier, no upgrade prompt, and nothing held back.
Nothing is timed and nothing is scored against anyone else. No leaderboards, no points, no streaks to keep alive.
Progress on a half finished puzzle is still remembered, but it is stored in your own browser on your own device rather than in an account. That is why a Daily Sudoku picks up where you left it, and also why it will not follow you to a different computer.
