How to play Cat Sudoku
Cat Sudoku is a calm logic puzzle. The board is a grid split into coloured regions, and your job is to place a row of friendly cats so that four simple rules all hold at once:
- One cat in each row.
- One cat in each column.
- One cat in each colour.
- No two cats may touch — not side by side, and not even corner to corner.
Every board has exactly one answer, and you can always reach it by reasoning — you never have to guess. When you place a cat, every square it rules out is gently marked with a faint paw, so the next move is easy to spot.
The three-tap square
There is only one thing to do: tap a square. The first tap places a cat. The second tap leaves a paw-mark — your own “a cat can’t go here” note. The third tap clears it again. No dragging, no typing, and a mistake is never permanent.
